Priyanka Gandhi Vadra Demands Transparent Investigation into Ram Temple Donation Irregularities
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Congress MP, has urged for a transparent investigation into the alleged irregularities concerning donations to the Ram Temple. She emphasized that those found guilty should face severe penalties.
In a post shared on X, Priyanka Gandhi highlighted that the reported theft and misappropriation of temple offerings have undermined the faith of millions of devotees. She condemned the actions as antithetical to the ideals embodied by Lord Ram.
“Those who have stolen from the Ram Temple have committed the gravest sin of shattering the fundamental spirit of religion and faith,” she stated.
The Congress leader scrutinized the possibility of the alleged irregularities being executed solely by junior staff members. She raised pertinent questions regarding the incident.
“Can mere low-level employees, on their own, turn off CCTV cameras and tamper with thousands of crores in offerings? Is there complicity of some big players behind it?”
Priyanka Gandhi insisted that the investigation should be thorough and transparent, cautioning against shielding those involved. She asserted that anyone responsible must be held accountable and penalized under the law.
In a related development, Champat Rai, General Secretary of the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust, along with trustee Anil Mishra, resigned from their positions on Friday, citing moral responsibility for the alleged embezzlement of donations to the Ram Mandir.
